Presenters

Background

Dj

Neil Vessey

It’s been said I have an eclectic taste in music. The first time someone said that I thought they were being rude but I consulted me dictionary and found they were right! And it’s fair to say they’ve gotten more diverse as the years have passed.

Dj

Richard Sirot

I am a semi-retired actor and writer. I am pleased to say I am Deal Radio longest-serving and oldest presenter. This probably explains why all the younger members of DR keep asking me what it was like in the trenches at the battle of Ypres.

Dj

Chris Morgan

I have always been interested in programming that falls outside of the strict playlist format and that’s what makes Deal Radio a pleasure to be part of. The diversity of the content has made it possible to listen in and enjoy the great genre mix and of course for me to cater for those who appreciate music from the fifties and sixties.

Dj

Lee Everest

Lee Everest is a radio presenter based in the UK and has over three years' experience working on live radio, for community stations as well as pre-recording and voice tracking shows.

Dj

Nigel Chorley

He knew radio was for him when he heard the pirates and even set up his own radio station at home – a cable service for Mum and Dad with different shows in the kitchen and the lounge! Nigel started DJing at school near Croydon, Surrey, with the lunchtime disco, before becoming a mobile DJ around London and Surrey in 1972.

Dj

Forest

Forest is the producer, programmer and host of MUSICAL STARSTREAMS, the USA’s first (December, 1981) syndicated, electronica based commercial radio program. Over the years, Starstreams has been heard on over 200 commercial and non-commercial stations including a majority of the Top Ten USA markets, daily on XM satellite radio, DirecTV, radioIO.com, mixcloud.com and iHeart.com. In 1991, MUSICAL STARSTREAMS was nominated for BILLBOARD magazine’s adult syndicated program of the year and Forest received the coveted Crystal Award for broadcast media from the INAMC in Los Angeles.

Dj

Roger Brockbank

I retired to what I thought at the time was a quiet seaside town and instead found something entirely different - a town with a lively music scene and Deal Radio! I worked for the NHS for 35 years managing mental health services. Now, after a chance encounter with Deal Radio weeks before the 2020 lockdown, I volunteer as a DJ and have a radio show under my belt. With no previous broadcasting experience, it was a challenging beginning that led to The Global Underground radio show.
