My musical background was born in the post punk era of the late 1970s early to the mid-1980s. I was given a cassette player in 1978 and went out and bought Parallel Lines by Blondie and so began the journey which continues to this day.
I was in a band for a couple of years in the 80s and that band, The Majority, after a very long hiatus released a couple of singles in 2023. My other musical project is called Fields of Dawn and focus on raising money for cancer charities.
In recent years I have become more and more disillusioned with mainstream radio and lockdown gave me the opportunity to discover internet radio and more specialised shows. The aim of my Rivers2Cross Radio Show is to play the best guitar music from the last 50 years. Lots of classics with plenty of new music thrown in too.
