A Dealite for the past seven years, Adam says:

‘I’ve often thought about doing a radio show like this ever since seeing the Clint Eastwood movie ‘Play Misty For Me’.

I’m inspired by the Japanese Jazz Kissaten (Jazz Cafe) culture and Detective Harry Bosch’s consummate music taste, and want to play great jazz music that’s welcoming to new listeners who may not know know much about the genre but are curious to try some’.

Adam has spent his whole career involved in different areas of music, starting as a session guitar player and a record producer/writer. He managed Tower Records UK Jazz dept before moving to Sony Music, where he was Director of Jazz, UK & International. He worked with Tomorrow’s Warriors jazz development organisation and helped start up and establish vinyl-led Gearbox Records. He is a regular writer for London Jazz News and ‘Aww…Pick it, Wilson’, consultant at Margate Jazz Festival and still playing guitar.
