Congratulations to Samara Joy, winner of Best New Artist and Best Jazz Vocal Album for ‘Linger Awhile’ at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
If you’ve been listening to Deal Radio’s Jazz On The Beach show for a while you’ll know that the 23 year old New Yorker was our Artist of the Year 2021 and shared the Artist of the Year 2022 award with saxophonist Binker Golding. Now Samara’s a double Grammy winner and on her way to becoming a major jazz star, and we’re absolutely delighted for her.
