The HQ Space – The New Home of Deal Radio

Evolution Music, Roulette Records and Deal Radio (DR) have brought together their extensive network of creative and music artists in this eclectic store. Part broadcast studio, part record store, part ‘hang out. HQ is the new home for Deal Radio – Deal Radio has become one of the top ten streetside radio stations in the UK and now sits firmly in the internet radio ether. Listeners from across the globe can experience Deal Radio and now the station is more accessible to the local community. Acting as a ‘drop-in’ for locals, community groups, creatives, artists etc – the store/studio is being open for broader community engagement and interactions.

Part of the ethos for HQ is related to focusing their support on new or existing talent (particularly grassroots artists) so the store will also link to a new venture with Roulette Records to help promote musicians/artists through a new label service ‘NXT’ – an online platform that mirrors sales/promotions from the store.

The store and broadcast pod will be available for special events – pop-up promos, LIVE broadcasts, and small acoustic sets. The team behind HQ will also collaborate with other local art supporters to broaden the opportunity and give people a physical space for their work. We work with local artists and musicians to create opportunities. One of our first projects is our upcycled vintage T-Shirt designs where we will be working with local artists to print their designs on upcycled vintage t-shirts.

Come down and visit for crate digging, tune kicking, community chilling, magazine skimming, book flicking, radio hamming, event booking, down-to-earth fun and nonsense!!!

During our launch on March 25th, we felt very welcomed by the community and from now on we will work closely with local groups.
