Get your pearly whites into this! No ‘country bumpkins’ in sight…Wet Leg aren’t the only ones to be making waves from the Isle of Wight… we have a double bill of new talent on this week’s Foxy show! First up Art Rockers Jo-Jo & The Teeth, a band with roots in the Rocky Mountains, Dublin, Isle of Wight & London. Regulars at the Isle of Wight Festival, they have a new single “Don’t Get too Heavy” and a forthcoming album in the pipeline.
Next up ‘The world’s greatest two-person rock n roll ensemble’ The fabulous Courettes! I catch Flavia and Martin whilst on their European tour, which includes a 17-date UK leg in June, squeezing in a BBC 6Music session. The band introduces tracks from their new 10” Mini-LP Back In Mono (B-Sides & Outtakes) Plus courtesy of Damaged Goods Record you can win a copy of The new Courettes LP and the New Damaged Goods Compilation album. This show will be epic!!
