The Pluggin’ Baby Radio Show

The Plugin Baby Radio Show is a 2-hour weekly guitar-based music show that features the most exciting independent talent as well as established bands who have fired up Emma’s musical passion since she started her radio career back in 1988.

Since the show launched in September 2022, Emma has featured hundreds of new tracks from artists from all over the world. There have been several acoustic sessions and interviews with familiar artists and classic tracks, as well as an introduction to fresh new bands that may end up being your new favourite artist.

Emma shines a spotlight on her favourite artists and encounters from her 35+ years in the radio industry and plays exhilarating new sounds that will lie seamlessly side by side with the likes of “Shinedown, Linkin Park, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Paramore, Stereophobics, Jimmy Eat World, Placebo, and of course Muse”

“So good, I named the radio show after one of their songs” she declared.

THE PLUGGIN’ BABY RADIO SHOW is whipping up excitement in the same way Emma has over the years with the likes of Kerrang! Radio, Metro FM, Hallam FM, Power FM, Chiltern Radio, Heart, Galaxy, Juice and many more.

Each week will bring a new Killer Cover to the show, where Emma plays pop songs being covered by rock bands. Listeners are invited to suggest their own via email: radioshow@plugginbaby.com

In the words of Emma, “Having worked in the music industry for over 35 years, I have radio in my blood” and as the show will epitomise and the music industry can attest to over the past couple of decades or so, the supporting and promoting of new bands and great sounds lies deep in her heart, it all brought forth once more with the fun and passion only rock ‘n’ roll can inspire.
