Marc Eden is joining Mr C in the UYC studio with conversation and a few LIVE solo tracks for you to enjoy.
Born in Margate, UK, Marc Eden learnt the guitar and started singing rock ‘n’ roll at age 15. He moved to London and became a singer, songwriter, guitar player, performer and dreamer.
He recorded an EP with Andy Gill, played the 2nd Isle of Wight festival in 2002 and Glastonbury in 2003 before being personally invited by Slash to write/record in L.A. That resulted in 4, as yet, unreleased tracks – including an early version of ‘Slither’.
Eden then joined forces with Ariel Bender, aka Luther Grosvenor, (Mott the Hoople/Spooky Tooth guitarist) and toured the AB Band, supporting Rod Stewart in 2007. He appears on the Mott the Hoople Family Anthology record, and Luther’s If you Dare album (2011).
He then formed Men & Gods with long-term Seven/DNA collaborator Alrick Guyler who were signed to Pacific Records in 2011. In addition, he formed The Peckham Cowboys with Guy Bailey (Quireboys), and Dale Hodgkinson who signed to Cargo Records. Their album Flog It was released in 2011.
When on breaks from Men & Gods and The Peckham Cowboys he plays the blues in The Screamin’ Blue Scoundrels.
