Paperback Writer is talking to Lucy Meadway.
Whilst working as an art teacher Lucy founded an expert pet sitting and guinea pig spa service Little Critter Care and decided to leave teaching for her dream of working with animals. She fundraises for animal rescues through her artwork, and most recently a sponsored walk, speaking about animal welfare on many different platforms.
‘The Happy, Healthy Guinea Pig Guidebook’ is part of a series of books designed to improve the welfare of rodents and rabbits, who are among the most neglected pets in the UK.
Lucy lives in Sevenoaks, Kent, with her fiancé, 3 guinea pigs and hampster and loves nothing better than to sit in the garden in the summer doing arts and crafts and listening to a podcast while the guinea pigs enjoy being out on the grass.
