My first LIVE episode! Broadcasting from the high street in Deal on the last Friday in September, I played loads of new music; several new releases from Ninja Tune and Domino, a mixed bag of genres – music I’m finding inspiring this month! I kick off the show with some Brazilian Psychedelia and some up tempo of electronic tracks including a Fontains DC Orbital Remix and end the show with a live Daniel Rossen recording.
There’s a new Good Gig Radar section looking ahead to October and what shows are happening live in Deal, Brighton, London and Paris and our new Cinema Paradiso section where BBC broadcaster Larushka Ivan- Zadeh tells us about her world of film and cinema. 1hr 30! ENJOY and tune in again Friday Oct 27th 5:30pm!

Episode 12

AWOL with Alice Gold: Hints of Halloween

A shorter show due to technical hiccups! 1hr 16 mins. I start the show with some classic soul, some Brazilian dance and a massive electronic track released earlier this year by mute records from Haai and Jon Hopkins. After a wonderful chat to our Cinema Paradiso host Larushka Ivan-Zadeh about her favourite Halloween-tinged film Blue Velvet we settle the show down with some incredible new indie/alternative/psych music from Big Thief, Suftan Stevens and my new favourite artist producer Sam Evian to name but a few.
