The One Where the Dorman Get’s in Again
Luke Dorman will be revisiting the UYC studio, regular listeners will remember Luke joined Mr C back in April, this time he will be treating us to a LIVE performance with tracks from his new album.
Luke is a singer/songwriter from Broadstairs, Kent. Formerly the front man of the band ‘Meister’ known for songs such as ‘Loretta’ and ‘Breakaway’.
Meister broke through back in 2016 playing local Kent festivals like Wheels and Fins, Bikes at the Bay, also Festability among many gigs in local and National venues such as the Ramsgate Music Hall, Elsewhere, Albion Rooms, Nambucca, London etc.
With the pandemic hitting hard Meister has taken a back burner leaving Luke to showcase his solo material.
In February 2021 “Go to the Light “ was released via Bandcamp and was played on BBC Radio Kent courtesy of Doug Welch on Leo’s Upload show.
Late March saw the release of ‘Miracle’ and now Luke is readying his album for release later this year, yet to be titled.
